Born in 1976 in Brisbane, Australia; Jason has spent most of his adult life travelling,
spending time in England, Hong Kong, Canada, Dominican Republic and Japan. Jason was never
interested in photography until his friend Robert (whom he met in Kobe), introduced him to the
idea. The advent of digital photography also helped to sway him towards the art. The ease of
use, instant review, relative cheapness and access of digital photography all appealed to
Jason. Future travel plans include Europe, where a new landscape, atmosphere and culture will
help him enrich his current portfolio. Jason would also like to "hunt down" some animal shots
on safari in Africa and venture into the cold north to shoot the Aurora Borealis.
Jason also recently became a 2nd place winner in the BetterPhoto competition, for his photo
"Colours in the Shade".
